These are New England pics ranging from an eastern Massachusetts Blue Heron rookery to Moose Dodge in Rangely, Maine. Lots of blues and oranges, just like sunset. Actually, each season displays its own set of 'complementary colors', ie, colors that lie opposite each other in the spectrum (like blue and orange) and intensify each other when paired. For example, predominant winter colors are red and green- red causing the most violent reaction in the human eye and green triggering the least. Spring? Yellow and purple. Undomesticated summer flowers tend to be the least colorful of all- lots of pastel whites, pinks and creams.
